Basketball

I had a basketball game today. We lost bad, it was 58-10 for the other team. I got my first basket and it was nice. I was weaving into the key and shot jumping sideways. It banked off the backboard and in. I also had my fist fowl shot. I missed them both so my coach said I'm running extra lines in practice JK. Tell me if you play on a basketball team or if you wished that you did. Or if you have ever made an awesome move or basket.

The Plumer

This week Rob the plum er was here and he has hooked up all the bathroom toilets and sinks. "Ya finally I don't have to share a bathroom!" I have been sharing a bathroom with my family for a while now. Also my dad is going to hang my bathroom door tomorrow. I haven had one and its a little gross listening to my family going to the bathroom wile I am asleep! There is a bit of a complication with our kitchen sink and the dishwasher. They have the same water line and the sink is missing a part so that means the dishwasher won't work. I am so tired of washing dishes and I was exited about getting a dishwasher but I guess I'm going to have to wash dishes once more.

Hockey Tournament

 Last Saturday we had a tournament in Falher. We lost every game but we played well. Then the last game one of our player got hurt. This kid on there team checked him from behind and his head went into the boards. He said after the game that his back hurt so they said he should go to the hospital. Today he said the doctors said he was fine. On the guys team that hit him a guy had the hardest slap-shot I have ever seen. It hit a kid on our team and gave him a big bruise. So overall it was a pretty good tournament. 

Living in Our New

We are finally living in our new house! All of us are living upstairs because we aren't finished downstairs. We still have to acid stain the floor. Also the base boards and crown molding. 

Now my job after school is scraping out the lines in the cement floor. It is hard work! I can't wait until we are finished. Tell me if you have ever built a house.

Hockey

Last weekend we played a game in Grande Prairie. It was cool because we played in the Canada Games Arena . I almost scored. The score at the end was 5-1. It was our best game yet. I hope we win the next game! I also got a wicked new stick! Tell me if your team is improving rapidly. 

Hockey

Last weekend we played Wembly. We lost 11-2, but it was one of our best games for playing together. Like passing and working hard. I think we could have beat them if we tried harder. I carried the puck up twice and the second time I got really close to scoring. I put it threw a bunch of players legs with one hand. When I got really close to the net I shot it and it hit the goally's shoulder and fluttered up. William almost hacked it in but the golly saved it. Tell me If you have ever carried it up and got really close to scoring.

Christmas

I love Christmas. Its my favorite holiday. This year I am not getting very many presents
because my big present is the house were building. I can't wait until we are finished.

This year my family is going to my grandmas house for Christmas dinner. I usually get a big present from her so that's good. My auntie and uncle are going to my other cousins house for Christmas dinner. That is kind of weird because they always come to my grandmas for dinner. But I guess its good to see other family sometimes.Leave me a comment talking about why you like Christmas or why you don't (who doesn't like Christmas?).

Hockey

My hockey team had a game yesterday. We lost 8-2 but we played well. Its weird because all three games we have played we have got 2 goals. I think it was my best game so far. I hip checked a guy and drew two penalties. In the warm-up I took a wrist shot that just about smoked Brandon in the side of the head. It was the hardest shot I have ever took. The glass rung for a long time.

William and sawyer got the two goals. I carried it up twice and both times drew a penalty. By the end of the game there players were scared of me because I hit them so much in the corners.

My coach was late and he had half of our players. So when I got to the arena there was only my goalie and me. Tell me about one year of hockey when you had some inconsistent players. Or when you had a good game.

Busy Weekends

This weekend is very busy for me. First I have a hockey game then my mom is taking my sister and her friends to Twilight. After that (oh, and this is just on Saturday)we are going to my cousins house for supper.Then on Sunday I am inviting my friend over to work on a project for school. And my cousins mom is coming over to help us paint. If you have ever had a weekend like this one tell me about it by leaving me a comment.

The Front Deck

Today me,my dad,and Dave our worker finished the siding above the front deck. I was in charge of holding the ladder when someone was up on it. Also my cousins mom is over painting in my mom and dads room. When I went to help her she asked me to vacuum the walls because they had drywall dust on them. As I vacuumed the walls I suddenly got a huge shock. I didn't know why so I asked my dad why I got a shock, he said it could have been from static electricity building up in the bristles of the vacuum head. I kept vacuuming and only got one more sock. My sister and mom just came home from the Debolt craft sale. They made an astonishing $1000 dollars. But anyway the front deck looks good and we hope to be finished the fasha and sofit probable in a week or so.

Oh ya, and my hockey practice was cancelled because of a sewer backup.

Posting

I am kind of running out of ideas to post about. But I can always go to Mr.Groff's blog to get ideas. I think I am going to do that. Tell me if you have ever went on Mr.Groff's blog for help.

The Trailers Gone

Today our trailer is being moved. The addition was moved yesterday. I had to come to school today but my sister stayed home because she was going to a craft sale with my mom. I am probably going to miss when the trailer is moved. I am kind of sad about it. Leave me a comment if you have ever had to say goodbye to a house or a trailer.

Holiday Trailer

We are oafishly moved out of our house and living in our holiday trailer. Last nigh was the first night we stayed in our holiday trailer. This morning my dad went to work but he wasn't being very quiet. When me and my sister woke up she told me that at 5 o'clock she heard really loud music. It woke her up and she was mad. I must have been sleeping very sound because I didn't hear anything. I think it's going to be fun sleeping in the holiday trailer. Tell me if you've ever had to sleep in your holiday trailer because you are moving out of a house or a trailer. 

Out of The Trailer

We are officially out of our trailer. We just took out all the food and put it in our holiday trailer. Were staying in the trailer one more night. Its going to be hard to get up in the morning because we have no food in the trailer. I'm going to be sad when the trailer is moved because its been my home for the past 8 years. Edmonton

Edmonton was awesome. We went to Ikea and shopped around a bit. I didn't buy anything but everyone else in my family did. It is huge but still not as big as West Ed. Ikea has a restaurant that's food si really good. I had fish and chips which were excellent. For desert we had a Swedish cake. "hm it was yummy!". We had fun!

Edmonton

Today me and my family are at my cousins in Edmonton staying over night. Tomorrow we are going to west Edmonton mall to shop then to Ikea to pick up our counter tops. They are like a big wood cutting Bord's. Leave me a comment if you have the same kind of counter tops.

Mudding and Taping

Our workers are now working on mudding and taping our new house. They have a couple more layers to go. The inspector is coming soon to check every thing out so the bank can loan us our next draw. Tell me if you have ever be really ancshouse to be done?

Science Test!

In two days I am going to be writing a science test on interactions and ecosystems. Its nothing compared to the exam I'm going to be writing a couple days after. But o well they shouldn't be to hard. I am pretty good at science but on the last test I got 80%. I know that doesn't sound bad to some people but I hate it. Tell me if you agree or disagree in a comment on this post.

Insulation

Today, me and my mom are putting in insulation in our garage. I really don't like it but I know I have to do it. I can't wait until we are done so the workers can drywall the garage and then move on to mudding and taping the whole house. Its not to bad because the guy that is putting in the heat is already finished. I will keep writing about our house building and how it is going.

Thanks Giving

Today me and my family are going to my grandmas house for turkey dinner. We just got our addition moved off of our mobile. My dad pulled it with the truck. It was cool because he started to spin-out and make ruts in our yard. Today I am thankful for the house we are building and such a loving family. I am probably going to gain about 2 or 3 pounds today from all the turkey and mashed potatoes I am going to eat. It's going to be fun because my two little cousins our going to be there. We play a game were my cousins take turns riding on my back. I try to flip them off by bucking on my hands and knees. My oldest cousin is a girl and she is 9 years old and my youngest cousin is a boy and he is 5 years old. I am thankful for more reasons than I can say. Putting up Drywall

Yesterday our builders started to put up drywall. They have a couple walls done and my room roof done. Today they are still working on the drywall. I expect them to be done all of the roof upstairs. After school today me and my sister have to fold up our pool. I am not very exited about that. When we were packing I accidentally packed my alarm clock. So now I keep waking up to late in the morning. Write back if you know how I feel.

Mov ing Out

Today we moved out of our mobile home and put our stuff in our shop. We had our cousins over to help us. We mostly did the heavy lifting today but I cleaned out almost everything in my room. We are going to sleep in our holiday trailer for the next month or so. After my three cousins and I cleaned out my room we went outside and had a game of tag in and out of my knew house. The people that were running away hid inside the house and locked the person that was it outside. I was it only it twice. Them and there parents stayed for supper and a visit. We had Minuit steak with mashed potato's and fresh garden carrots. Our mobile looks very bare and empty now. They took my bed so I have to sleep on a matres on the floor. It might be an uncomfortable sleep tonight! It took so long to clean off my shelves in my room because they were so cluttered with stuff. The living room doesn't have anything in it except a fig tree. "O ya and my sister just set up a little TV". If you now what I am going threw leave me a comment.

House Building

Now we are ready two put drywall up. We already have some up in our utility room. The people already dilivered it and put it into each room. We are getting our cousins to help us hang the drywall. We have a delema because our worker wants to help and our cousins do to.Leave a post if you have any questions on our house building.

Hockey

Tonight there is a hockey meeting at the arena. They are going to talk about who is going to be the peewee coach. I am really exited for hockey because I am second year peewee. We don't have a care taker for the arena yet, so I am kind of worried we won't be able to use the arena. Leave me a post if you are as concerned as me.

House Building

We just got our back covered deck shingled. We also got both our garage doors on.When we sell our mobile we can put the front deck on.Inside the house we are doing vapor barier.The next stage is drywall.
